Overview

What is women's health at Alpha Clinic?

Our women’s health clinic handles the conditions that most often get dismissed: heavy or painful periods, PCOS, recurrent infections, endometriosis and pelvic pain. Consultation, ultrasound and laboratory work happen in the same visit rather than across three appointments.

Consultations are private, unhurried, and available with a female consultant on request.

  • Heavy, painful or irregular periods
  • PCOS diagnosis and long-term management
  • Endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain
  • Cervical screening and HPV vaccination
  • Contraception counselling and IUD insertion
  • Pelvic ultrasound during the same visit

What to expect

PCOS managed as a long-term condition, not a one-off prescription

PCOS affects metabolism, fertility and mood, not only cycles. We assess insulin resistance, weight, lipids and thyroid alongside the hormonal picture, and build a plan combining medication, nutrition and follow-up rather than handing over a strip of tablets.

  • Insulin resistance and metabolic screening
  • Nutrition planning with our dietetics input
  • Fertility implications discussed early
  • Scheduled review rather than open-ended repeats
